About the internship
We are looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable problem solver to join our product team. As a visual design intern at More, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered designs for our web and mobile products. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to create high-quality user experiences that delight our customers.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with the design team to create graphics for various marketing materials, including social media posts, email newsletters, website banners, print materials, and more
2. Generate creative ideas and concepts for visual content that effectively communicates our brand message and engages our target audience
3. Use design tools to execute design tasks and bring concepts to life
4. Ensure that all visual assets adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across different platforms and mediums
5. Assist in the development of visual elements for marketing campaigns, including digital advertisements, event promotions, and product launches
6. Work closely with marketing, content, and other cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet objectives
7. Keep abreast of industry trends, design techniques, and best practices to continually enhance your skills and contribute fresh ideas to the team

Other requirements
1. We are looking for someone who is currently pursuing a degree or has graduated in the field of graphic design, UI design, or communication design with a bachelors degree in design or a related field and can create visually enticing, consistent, and meaningful designs
Functional Competencies:
1. Demonstrated experience with detail-oriented, human-centered design approaches.
2. Demonstrates strong visual design skills.
3. Proficiency in adjacent skills such as competitive analysis, typography, and illustration.
4. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar compositing and vector tools.
5. Knowledge of Figma to collaborate with product designers and developers.
6. Knowledge of Adobe After Effects to create dynamic motion designs for products is a plus.
7. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate and convey design ideas.
